I am a researcher specializing in acoustic signal processing and perceptual evaluation, currently engaged in R&D at Sony Computer Science Laboratories (CSL) and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). I received my Ph.D. for research on the optimization of active noise control systems and their subjective evaluation.
At Sony Corporation, I worked on various projects in acoustic signal processing, including the reproduction of virtual sound sources and their applications. After transferring to SIE, my focus shifted to human-computer interaction, particularly the design of auditory signals and systems that support game user testing.
My recent research explores the sense of presence, with a particular interest in the social contingencies of agent behavior. Since June 2024, I have been a member of the Koizumi Laboratory, where I have been conducting signal analysis and developing experimental systems based on models of human auditory perception.
