Hina Kawaguchi
I earned my bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Education and a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Education at Tokyo Gakugei University. I am currently enrolled in the doctoral program of the United Graduate School of Education at the same university. I hold teaching licenses for elementary school as well as junior and senior high school (Japanese language).
My research interests lie primarily in social and cognitive psychology, with a focus on narrative immersion and attitude change. From 2022 to 2024, I worked as a part-time research assistant at the Laboratory for Consciousness, Center for Brain Science, RIKEN, where I studied the relationship between individual imagery ability, eye movements during reading, and narrative immersion. Since 2024, I have been working as a research assistant at the Koizumi Laboratory, Sony Computer Science Laboratories, where I engage in psychological experiments and fMRI studies related to emotion and cognition.
