Itsuki Ichikawa

Itsuki Ichikawa, a person with Asperger’s syndrome (now classified as autism spectrum disorder), completed a master’s degree at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, and served as a research fellow at the Research Institute of the National Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities from 2021 to 2026.
Since graduate school, he has consistently been engaged in the research and development of systems designed to alleviate sensory hypersensitivity, commonly observed in individuals with developmental disabilities. A key feature of his work is to create systems that adapt their functionality to individual needs and environmental conditions, using machine learning technologies.
